Super Art Sale and possible Arcade Revival!

Hey Darkstalkers fans, just 2 quick and important notices to catch your eyes.

Secondly, Capcom has announced it will be re-releasing four of the company's best fighting games to arcades in Japan.

Darkstalkers 3 is one of them.

These fighting games are coming back with some modern enhancements. The most obvious one is that the games will be played on a widescreen display. This will allow high-resolution art and character move lists to be placed on the sides of the screen, while the actual game will be presented in the center at its original resolution. This is to generate further interest in their oldest and most classic games, and garner new support for these classics to the next generation of gamers by evoking the old-school nostalgia of spending precious quarters just to defeat Jedah as your buddies scream from behind to use the low kick instead of the high kick button.

While these machines will only come out in Japan, it doesn't mean it won't be available in other countries. So here's to seeing even more new faces in the Darkstalkers fanbase, it'll be nice for the company.
